it was pretty hot here. probably over 100 degrees in our trunk .
I can't find anything on the package about storage temps.
I really don't want to do a taste test either.
Mayo is very dangerous, it's not worth it. Just buy some new. Is your life worth a couple of dollars?
I left an unopened container of mayo in the car for a few days. is it OK to use?

Please don't eat that. Mayo has eggs in it baby…and should be refridgerated.

If it hadn't been over 100 degrees you would be fine. On the package it states to refrigerate after opening, or all mayo would be stored in the cooler section at the grocery store. So, please, don't eat the mayo. You would be best to go and buy another and remember to bring it in next time. They make mayo shelf stable, til you break the seal.

Oh my goodness, it gets poisonous and you can get really sick, almost as bad as hospital sick. It happened to my brother, because he left a sand which outside from school, and left it there, then went back the next day to get it and put it in the fridge, thinking it still may be good if it was cooled until the next day. So when he got hungry the next day he ate it, and then about an hour later we had to take Home to the hospital because he was pale, and vomiting every ten minutes!

If it's a jar that's NEVER been opened it's fine. Unopened jars of Mayo are shipped from distribution centers by truck- not refridgerated either, so it is fine. If it was opened at some point then it needs to be thrown out, since once it's opened it needs to be kept cool.

You are fine. Think of the whare houses where they keep it nad even in delivery trucks.
It's not always ging to be in a nice cool place until it gets to your house.
The story about the sandwich is totaly un-related, and pretty much everyone else is just like the rest of the country that is over paranoid and scared no thanks to our governemnt babying us.
Your mayo is just fine, if you had opened it first I woudl say toss it.
