I mean, because of the subject matter, would you consider this piece a sort of B-grade tear-jerker ?

A Soldier’s Self-Portrait
When up unending skies drew Soldier’s eyes,
To desert’s night, celestial canvas glow,
He summoned stars to light-brush alibi,
And paint his place in war, long cancell’d woe.
With hand he filled shy moon to full adorn,
Aligned pale Milky Way to stand at ease,
Designed stray, scattered light to uniform,
And finger-painted threads to formal green.
With mighty breath he blew North Star to chest,
A hero now, brave, war-etched portrait he,
Then traced a frame as wide as arms could stretch,
Consigned his art, imprisoned tear set free.
This Soldier’s work of art a desert breeze,
In blood stained sands lay Artist’s final Peace.
