well i paid in january for the mini storage of that month and i didn't pay anything these couple of months and the only letter that i received was a letter stating the bill amount, they never said anything about our stuff being removed (certified letter), and our stuff is gone since 2 days ago…they said that they don't know where our stuff is, and now i have the money to pay it all at ones, there was my sofa new, my king size bed new too, clothes, baby clothes when my son was born, blankets that my mom and my grandma made by hand, all my 4 years where there…..what are my rights? HELP!!
They auctioned it off, as is their right.
What did you think they would do? Hold it forever?

None. You forfeited your rights by failure to pay bill. Your contract informed you of the results of failure to pay.

You failed to pay and they most likely listed your unit for auction in the local newspapers….which is their only legal responsibility. Sorry but someone else has your contents now and there is nothing you can really do about it. Next time pay your storage fees.

I don't know why they are trying to say they do not know what happened to it. That part is bogus.
If you do not pay then you lose your stuff. They sell what they can to pay for your debt. This is all standard.
