Twice I have been in the hospital for chest pains, every test have been taken and all were postive. Strong heart the doc. said. A little build up on arterires but that can be taken care with medicine, say,s the doc. I eliminated a statin for cholasterol, and I still get this sensation on my chest, like my chest muscles are a touch more then warm, I feel it on my muscles and not inside my chest. Like an almost hot blanket was being put on my chest. What can it be? Help!
Have you tried taking an antiacid when it happens sounds like some really bad heart burn.

Sounds like acid reflux or possible Barrett's Esophagus.
Antacids are one way but you might be a candidate for "Nexium" or some other drug to reduce heartburn.
Only your doctor can tell and you may need to see an internist who specializes in intestinal problems. Have a test where you are put out for a few minutes while they run a little TV camera down your throat and inspect your esophagus and stomach for irritation. It is a simple procedure and you can usually have your colon checked for polyps during the same time while you are unconscious.
You might also be having panic attacks, which can have multiple causes. But only your doctor would know for sure.
