Your cat may have a urinary tract infection (UTI). Majority of the time, when cats pee in weird places, it is not because of rebeliousness or "acting out", but because there is something medically wrong. UTI is caused by ingredients (magnesium and ash) in low quality cat foods, which they don't really need. The cat's system responds by creating uric acid crystals in the urine, which scratch and irritate the lining of the bladder and uretra. This causes pain, and the cat's system then begins creating sludge-like substance that starts to build up in the urethra. If the urethra becomes completely blocked, it will kill the cat very quickly. UTI's are more common in male cats than females.
I would advise that you take your cat to the vet ASAP to see if he has a UTI. If he does, the vet can flush out his system and make it clean again. They may try to sell you some expensive "prescription diet" food that is supposed to prevent UTI. IT's not necessary to buy that expensive stuff from the vet unless you want to. If you go to the pet store or feed store and read the ingredients/content labels on the cat food bags, you can find some that don't have magnesium and ash in them at all, and any food of that sort will be fine. Some foods even say on the package that they are designed for urinary tract health.
You also need to thoroughly clean any places the cat has peed. Just because you can't smell the pee anymore doesn't mean he cant. Remember, their noses are far more powerful than ours. If they smell even the slightest bit of urine left over from where they peed before, they will think it's OK to keep peeing there in the future. To kill cat pee smells for good, thoroughly soak the urine spot with a combination of plain white vinegar and club soda water. If you don't have soda water, that's OK, the vinegar will work fine on it's own. If the spot is on a carpet, cover the vinegar with layers of newspapers or paper towels, and place something heavy on top of the papers, such as a stack of books. Be sure to protect your books from the moisture with a plastic bag. Leave everything on there and let the vinegar dry on the spot. The acid pH of the vinegar will counterbalance the alkaline pH of the urine, thus killing the smell for good, and it should prevent kitty from peeing there again. Vinegar stinks a bit, but it's not as bad as cat pee smell! This really works good, I have used this trick for years. They also sell special cleaners for this in pet stores, the most common one is called Nature's Miracle. I have never tried it because the vinegar trick works great, and you can find a gallon of vinegar for not much money at all.
Good luck, I hope this helps =^.^=

the stuff it keeps peeing on already has its scent so if u wash them good and whenever you catch it about to pick it up and move it to the litter and it will eventually know or you could jus get new covers and hope it doesnt continue the issue
and sometimes animals jus dont like certaint ones
jus like people sometimes there is that person that jus gets under your skin same scenario

I totally agree with everything Miss Kitty had to say. The only thing I'd add is that it also might be a habit now with "Mr. Kitty." Just for a while, see if they'd mind too badly having him placed in a different room (bathroom?) at night, with a litter box (with his scent in it!) in the room with him. He might need a reminder!
I hope your parents don't get rid of him until finding out what's causing this, although I do understand their frustration. DEFINITELY get the litter crystals that show up any urinary infection he might have - this is a less expensive way (compared to the vet) to screen for such a possibility. If he does, ofc you'll need to get him vet care.
If he's healthy, he needs re-training. Did you change his litter? A change of litter may cause him to quit using his box because he isn't comfortable with the change. Also, when you clean up the litter, do you leave any of his .. umm .. "presents" in with the new litter? Always do this, so he knows this is where he should be going.
I really wish you the best on this. If nothing else, ask your parents if you can do some extra chores (or whatever) to earn the money to take him for a vet check-up. Sometimes these traveling, portable vets that come to town every once in a while might be willing to check out your cat at a much-reduced price. It's worth giving it a try, to prevent losing your beloved friend.

life - i have a cat!
I totally agree that the kitty needs to be checked by a vet but I think if he is healthy that this cat is simply still trying to mark the territory that he feels is his. Cats will still spray urine at times even after being fixed if he feels like his territory is being threatened. He may still be uncomfortable around the dogs even after all this time. You are his best friend in the house since you are the source of all his important needs, like food, shelter, love, etc. and he feels the need to keep his scent there to remind the dogs to "back off". So, therefore, he is marking you by peeing on your bed instead of on you because that is where your scent is the strongest in the home. Your scent remains strong there even after you wash your sheets or have new clothes. Poor kitty is just trying to keep his home "marked" cause the dogs are invading his territory and he wants to tell them to "stay away%2
